Mass removal is a surgical procedure that removes lumps, bumps, or tumors, from a dog’s body. It’s often recommended to improve a dog’s quality of life and prevent more serious health issues. Most times, we will also recommend a histopathology of the “bump” which includes sending the sample to a veterinary pathologist to prepare and examine under a microscope to make a proper diagnosis of the mass.
